Punk Rock Factory @ The 1865, Southampton
Punk Rock Factory. A band that’s only been around for 4 years but has picked up quite the following!
Punk Rock Factory came to play Southampton at the beginning of the month and completely rocked the 1865. Everyone was on their feet, jumping around, hands in the air, singing along to the various cover songs the band are so well known for. Including one for my fellow 90s kids, the Pokemon theme tune, all in a classic punk rock style. Very entertaining.
The crowd was varying in ages, spanning from little kids, to people of retirement age. The varied song choices that Punk Rock Factory cover caters to the wide audience. It’s clear to see why they’ve picked up such a following in such a short time, with covers of childrens TV theme songs like Bluey, to songs like Kate Bushs’ Running Up That Hill.
They were supported by Adam and the Metal Hawks, fronted by American Idol 2014 finalist, Adam Ezegelian - the perfect support for their act. Again, a band that shared some covers of popular rock songs amongst their own.
If you get the chance to see either of these bands then take it.
