I’ve got to be honest, I had been waiting for this day to come for a LONG TIME. I’ve been following Enter Shikari for around 17 years. Their music has been with me through the highest of highs and lowest of lows, with Take To The Skies being a pinnacle album for me, and then finally, there I was, in Cardiff Utilita Arena, ready to shoot the band that had instantly got me hooked all those years ago.
I remember seeing these guys playing stages like The Joiners way back when. They’re without doubt the band I’ve seen most times live, over any other band. I’ve seen them play the small venues, the festivals, the ‘intimate’ shows that are still to hundreds of people, and now to the venues of this size, but let’s take a second to talk about the production… The production is INSANE. The visuals, stunning. The light show, amazing. The band themselves only getting better and better with each album they bring out. ‘A Kiss For The Whole World’ being yet another Shikari masterpiece, and if you’re wanting to know my favourite song off it, it’s ‘Jailbreak’.
We can’t forget the great support acts that they took along for the ride too. Fever 333. - the perfect support for a band like Enter Shikari, and Noahfinnce, who also knows how to put on a show! Overall a really really great show.
I am truly grateful for the people at Bring The Noise for putting me forward to shoot this show. It’s a little teen dream come true. Also massive thank you to Chuff Media PR and 30 Century Management for giving the access too.
